Description Key Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and repair automotive lifts and garage equipment for both residential and commercial customers. Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and lifespan. Clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to customers while delivering best-in-class service. Accurately record service work, repairs, and maintenance activities. Assist in inventory management and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained. Respond promptly and professionally to emergency service requests. Continuously sharpen technical skills through structured training and real-world experience. Successfully complete Automotive Lift Service’s world-class technician training program and engage in ongoing education initiatives. Perform other duties as needed to support team success. Qualifications: Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a demonstrated aptitude for mechanical work. Trade school diploma and/or experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical work, preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, required. Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a DOT physical within thirty (30) days of hire. Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight and week-long trips, up to 100% of the time. Ownership of basic tools. Commitment to earning certification as a Certified Lift Inspector through the Automotive Lift Institute. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work safely at heights up to 25 feet. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety practices. Desire and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
