What You'll Be Doing

• Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic testing, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (as per credentialing)
• Instructing patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and disease management

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
