Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Administer and monitor vasopressor therapy and other critical care interventions
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units as needed in accordance with facility floating policy
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PCAs and unit coordinators to deliver high-quality critical care
• Adhere to all facility attendance, scheduling, and dress code policies throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Demonstrated experience with vasopressor administration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with the Meditech documentation system
• Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity with strong attendance reliability
