Adjunct Faculty Positions For Fall 2026 The History Department at Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants for an adjunct faculty position for Fall 2026 in Early Republic/Nineteenth-Century U.S. History. This is a part-time non-benefitted position. Duties/Responsibilities (50%) Design and delivery course content for credit courses. (45%) Prepare course materials. Assess student learning. Assign grades. Refer students to support services. Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students. (5%) Abide with USNH and KSC policies. Participate in appropriate departments/unit meetings. Requirements Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience: Ph.D. in history Peer-reviewed publication in early republic political history Expertise in early republic and 19th-century US political history Ability to teach a course in capitalism and slavery in the US, 1790-1850. Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching courses on American expansion in the antebellum period, capitalism and slavery, 1790-1850, and history of Boston.
