Job Description Assistant Property Manager – Affordable Housing Location: Minneapolis, MN Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Career Strategies is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager with Affordable Housing experience to join one of our premier property management clients in the Minneapolis metro area. Responsibilities Assist the Property Manager with the daily operations of an affordable housing community Process applications, certifications, recertifications, and annual renewals Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and other affordable housing programs Maintain accurate resident files and compliance documentation Collect rent, post payments, and assist with delinquency follow-up Coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs Respond to resident questions and provide exceptional customer service Assist with leasing activities, tours, and occupancy goals Work closely with maintenance staff to ensure service requests are completed promptly Support inspections, audits, and compliance reviews Qualifications Previous Assistant Property Manager experience required Affordable Housing experience required (LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, or similar programs) Knowledge of compliance requirements and recertification processes Experience with Yardi, OneSite, RealPage, MRI, or similar property management software preferred Strong organizational and administrative skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent required What We Offer $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision benefits Full-time opportunities Temp-to-hire and direct hire positions available Career advancement opportunities with leading property management companies Work with one of the nation's most established property management staffing firms If you have affordable housing experience and are looking for your next opportunity in property management, we are actively interviewing qualified candidates for immediate openings throughout the Minneapolis metro.
