AI National Security Analyst

Salary: $100,000 - 245,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely aligned field.
• We require at least three years of relevant experience in national security analysis, operations analysis, or comparable analytic work.
• We expect familiarity with generative AI tools, including large language models, and their use in solving practical problems.
• We require experience applying structured analytic techniques to complex issue areas.
• We value strong critical thinking and the ability to assess the reliability, usefulness, and constraints of analytic outputs.
• We require basic technical proficiency, including light scripting or experience working with data and tools such as Python, APIs, or similar technologies.
• We require the ability to communicate analytic findings clearly in both written and spoken form.
• We require eligibility to obtain an Interim Secret clearance by the start date and the ability to ultimately secure TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• We consider it a plus if you have applied or integrated generative AI in analytic, research, or operational environments.
• We consider it a plus if you are familiar with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, or AI-assisted workflows.
• We consider it a plus if you have assessed AI outputs for bias, accuracy, and mission relevance.
• We consider it a plus if you have supported DoD or IC analytic efforts.
• We consider it a plus if you have introduced new tools or technologies into established analytic processes.
• We consider it a plus if you have briefed analytic insights to stakeholders.
