Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and comprehensive medical history assessments.
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results.
• Work side by side with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans.
• Provide intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and handling surgical instruments with precision.
• Administer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes medication distribution, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgical training are strongly preferred.

Certifications Needed

• Unrestricted current PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
