Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and lab results

• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations highlighting surgical emphasis is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
