Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and design personalized therapy plans aimed at achieving their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families on therapy methods to promote ongoing progress in the home environment
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify therapy approaches as necessary to ensure patients stay ahead

Education & Credentials

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement of ongoing education and additional certifications

Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is mandatory
