Job Description As a Security Officer Dispatch Operations Driver in Newark, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatcher with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarms and access control activity, document incidents, and support timely response to security-related needs. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor alarm systems, cameras, access control activity, and communication channels; receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service to appropriate personnel. Document incidents, requests, and dispatch activity accurately in required logs and reporting systems, escalating critical information according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite personnel, management, and emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, and report observed security-related concerns or unusual activity. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
