Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Run coast-to-coast dry van freight out of Kirkwood, DE with HMD Trucking. This OTR solo position pays from 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles and includes safety, inspection and referral bonuses. Drivers are assigned late-model tractors (under three years) equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by dependable in-house maintenance and regular home time every two weeks.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operate dry van tractor-trailers on long-haul routes and meet delivery windows.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
