Details Work in a 26-bed Medical ICU (MICU) unit within a hospital setting Day shift staffing includes charge RN, staff RN, and PCT support Patient ratio is estimated at 2:1 but not guaranteed Unit utilizes CRRT equipment for critical care treatment Uses Meditech/CPN EMR system 13-week assignment with 7A-7P shift schedule Typical procedures include moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management Requirements Active KS or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU RN hospital experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification Prior Meditech experience preferred Experience in large trauma facilities preferred Sono IV and CRRT experience preferred No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care to critically ill medical ICU patients including hemodynamic monitoring and airway management Strong teamwork, coachability, and a positive attitude are valued traits for this role Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position Local candidates will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-737240.
