Details Work in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of a hospital setting 26-bed unit staffed with RNs, a Charge Nurse, and a Patient Care Tech on both day and night shifts Patient ratio of 1:2 Utilizes balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia equipment Performs procedures including heart catheterizations, cardioversion, central line management, and medication drips EMR system used is Meditech 13-week assignment on a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Requirements Active KS or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification required Prior Meditech experience preferred Prior experience traveling to large facility ICU units preferred No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to coronary and cardiac patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions Ideal candidates are driven, organized, efficient, and maintain a positive, engaged attitude Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-720436.
