Details Work in a 26-bed Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Unit staffed with 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech per shift Patient ratio of 1:2 Uses balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia equipment Documents in Meditech EMR Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment Requirements Active KS or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ICU experience required Experience with heart catheterizations, balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia protocols, and cardioversion Experience with central lines and medication drips Meditech EMR experience preferred Prior experience in a large facility ICU unit preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to cardiac and ICU patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions Collaborate with a team including RNs, Charge Nurses, and Patient Care Techs Best suited for driven, organized, and efficient nurses with a positive and engaged attitude Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment No local candidates will be considered American Traveler Job ID P-733741.
