We are seeking an experienced AD Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced support on Active Directory (AD) services, PC configuration and management, software/application installations, security group administration, and network troubleshooting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle various IT-related tasks efficiently

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for Active Directory (AD), including user account creation, management, and troubleshooting AD-related issues.
• Handle PC configuration and management, including system setup, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to PC troubleshooting, both hardware and software-related.
• Install, configure, and uninstall software/applications on user systems as required.
• Administer security groups within Active Directory, ensuring the correct access controls are in place and up to date.
• Perform network troubleshooting to resolve connectivity and performance issues, working closely with the network team as needed.
• Document and log all technical issues and resolutions, ensuring proper escalation processes are followed for unresolved issues.
• Provide support for remote users on both hardware and software-related concerns.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve support processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with Active Directory support, user account management, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of PC configuration and troubleshooting (hardware, OS, and software).
• Experience with software/application installation and uninstallation on Windows systems.
• Hands-on experience in security group administration within Active Directory.
• Strong understanding of network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality support.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA A+, or Network+.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for Active Directory automation.
