What You'll Do

• Manage project accounting activities across multiple active construction projects
• Process high-volume Accounts Payable and support Accounts Receivable functions
• Prepare and support progress billings, retention tracking, and project reporting
• Review subcontractor documentation, lien releases, and contract compliance requirements
• Perform job costing analysis and reconcile project financial data
• Process weekly union payroll and certified payroll reporting
• Support month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Partner with Project Managers to monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance
• Assist with audits and financial reporting requirements
• Utilize JD Edwards, Textura, Procore, and Excel to manage project financials

What We're Looking For

Required

• 3+ years of construction accounting or project accounting experience
• Experience with public works projects
• Strong Accounts Payable and project billing experience
• Knowledge of job costing, lien releases, retention, and progress billings
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred

• JD Edwards experience
• Textura or Procore experience
• Certified payroll and union payroll experience
• Experience working with contractors and subcontractors
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
