ICU RN Opportunity

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• Active Washington (WA) RN license required
• Must be experienced in ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg settings
• Must be willing to float to Med-Surg as needed

Position Details:

• 5-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• Night shifts
• ICU/PCU assignment with floating to Med-Surg when required

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care and education
• Maintain patient safety and follow restraint policies
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment in ICU, PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg units
• Follow infection control and isolation protocols
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Process physician orders and report critical lab values promptly
• Give thorough shift reports and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain emergency carts and unit supplies

The ICU RN will provide high-quality critical care nursing to patients in a rural critical access hospital environment, utilizing strong clinical judgment and flexibility to care for patients across ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg units while ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes.
