Locum Nurse Practitioner - Palliative Care

Palm Health Resources is hiring experienced Palliative Care Nurse Practitioners in Bloomington, IN! Seeking fulltime locums coverage! We are looking to add a Nurse Practitioner to join our Palliative Care Team! The Palliative Care Provider is part of a multidisciplinary team that focuses on improving the quality of life of people with serious, life-limiting illnesses through symptom management, support, and shared medical decision-making. Nurse Practitioner job details: Essential Job Duties: Conducts physical examinations and preventive health measures as per physician's guidance. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to evaluate patient's healthcare needs. Documents findings, formulates treatment plans, and collaborates with healthcare team for comprehensive care. Submits patient healthcare plans for periodic review by physicians. Prescribes medications, recommends therapies, and refers patients to specialists as necessary while ensuring compliance with regulations and professional ethics. Position Details: Full time (M-F), 40 hours per week (8am – 4pm) No Weekends No Call Previous Palliative Care or Hospital Medicine preferred Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited MSN program Must have Indiana RN license. Must have active APRN/CSR license or be eligible for licenses.
