The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Manager, People Operations (HR) to join our growing team and help deliver a best-in-class team member experience. At Elder Care Homecare, you’ll have the opportunity to: make a direct, positive impact on the lives of our team members, clients and families grow alongside a company that is expanding across multiple states help shape and strengthen our People practices as we scale This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence one day per week , with occasional travel to offices throughout NYC, CT, RI and MA. Reporting to our VP, People Strategy & Talent, you will own key People programs, serve as a trusted resource for team members and managers, and partner closely with leaders across the organization to support an engaged, high-performing team. What You’ll Do Build strong, trusted relationships with team members and managers; provide practical guidance and support on day-to-day people needs and workplace questions Identify opportunities to strengthen the team member experience by analyzing people data, engagement survey results and feedback; translate insights into meaningful actions and initiatives Build and improve People processes that support a consistent, scalable and high-quality team member experience Play a key role in performance and compensation programs, with significant involvement in year-end processes; support planning, data analysis, manager guidance, communications and execution Strengthen performance management and feedback practices by giving managers the tools and support they need to lead their teams effectively Foster a culture of continuous learning and development; partner with our training team to build learning programs, manager resources and development opportunities Develop and maintain our company intranet and People tools, making important information clear, accessible and easy to use Partner across the People team on evolving priorities and special projects as the organization continues to grow Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience independently managing core HR programs and processes Current knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices and evolving workplace trends Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of an organization Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment, with the ability to navigate sensitive or ambiguous situationsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members, managers and cross-functional stakeholders Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality team member experience Preferred: HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Experience supporting a multi-state workforce Home care, health care or other high-growth, distributed workforce experience Hands-on experience building and managing compensation programs, including market analysis, benchmarking, salary structures and compensation review cycles Experience using People data and engagement insights to inform programs and decisions Proficiency in Google Workspace What we Offer: Paid Time Off Annual Performance Bonus 401K w/ Match Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Why You’ll Love Working With Us A Culture That Puts People First We believe outstanding care starts with taking care of our team.
