Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership and supervision of registered nurses and ancillary staff on the assigned unit.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager/Director, physicians, and the care team to develop and revise individualized care plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Direct and monitor patient care activities to ensure safety, quality, and timely interventions; participate in direct patient care as needed.
- Conduct rounds to assess patient needs, introduce self to patients and families, and solicit feedback on nursing services.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient experience, satisfaction, and care continuity; support quality improvement initiatives and problem-solving on the unit.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum two years of recent acute care experience; five years' technical experience preferred
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications required (AHA/ARC)
- EPIC experience required
- Ability to work night shift and function effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Education and Licensure/Certifications
- Education: BSN required; MSN preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: California RN license; BLS; ACLS; PALS; EPIC experience required
