Legal Assistant - Civil Litigation

WWMG Law, a premier civil litigation firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position offers an opportunity to support high-stakes civil litigation matters in a fast-paced environment. We handle complex cases involving personal injury, business torts, employment litigation and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, including case intake, discovery, motion practice and trial preparation.
• Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines in compliance with Tennessee Rules of Court and local court rules.
• Prepare pleadings, correspondence, and court filings, ensuring adherence to formatting requirements under Rules of Court.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Support e-filing and handle service of process in accordance with Code Civil Procedure.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in civil litigation.
• Familiarity with federal procedures is a plus but not required.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure.
• Proficiency in legal software such as Clio, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
• Associate's degree or paralegal certificate preferred; bachelor's degree in a related field is a bonus.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
