Overview The Designer will work cross functionally with Graphic Design, Sales and Merchandising to create and develop seasonal apparel lines while supporting the overall brand’s objective. Key Accountabilities Conduct seasonal research and identify trends across style, fit, and color to inform, evolve, or support the Littles brand strategy Partner with brand leadership across both Nike HQ and Haddad NYO to execute Littles designs against strategic priorities and areas of suggested alignment specifically within “Design Sprint” timelines Filter creation, development, and execution of design process through the overall brand strategy and merchandise objectives for the Littles business Create technically accurate 2D & 3D CAD sketches of styles in development Maintain regular communication with Design and Merchandising teams to review product development progress, align on priorities, and share feedback Execute and maintain accurate tech packs to support product development and commercialization needs Where applicable, brief in and virtually attend all fit sessions from concept through production, ensuring design intent is achieved Review and approve styles, materials, trims, and color executions as needed, while clearly communicating approvals to cross-functional partners Support sampling communication and coordination between sample rooms, Design, and cross-functional teams as required Attend and recap key corporate milestone and cross-functional meetings, identifying actionable next steps, feedback, and timelines Collaborate closely with Design, Graphic Design, Merchandising, Operations, and Sales teams to prepare line reviews and presentation materials for market and corporate meetings Partner cross-functionally to gather, synthesize, and present both brand and business insights leading into seasonal and collaborative milestone meetings Partner cross-functionally to plan, concept, develop, and deliver product assortments aligned to GGP milestone timelines, ensuring execution Special projects as assigned Requirements Required Skills/Abilities/Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design 5+ years of experience in the fashion industry (children’s wear knowledge a plus) Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills with attention to detail Ability to lead and develop a team of Assistant/Associate Designer(s) Brand appropriate aesthetic Must have active wear and boys design experience Consistent in-office presence is vital to the role as it is for all Haddad Brands team members, so that we all have a full appreciation, aesthetically and tactilely, of the qualities that define our brand partners’ products and set them apart from their competitors. #J-18808-Ljbffr Haddad Organization Ltd.
