INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Terms I am at least 18 years old I am legally authorized to work in the United States We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Conroe, TX! Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the building and facility. Complete basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor repair work. Perform routine inspections of the building and equipment. Help maintain and repair production machinery. Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues with production equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Replace basic parts such as belts, hoses, bearings, switches, and filters. Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns. Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Assist with equipment installation or moving equipment as needed. Follow all company safety procedures, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout procedures. Contact or assist outside contractors when specialized repairs are needed. Perform other maintenance duties as assigned. Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Skills Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience working on production machinery. Basic knowledge of motors, pumps, belts, bearings, and other mechanical components. Basic electrical troubleshooting experience. Welding or fabrication experience is a plus. Forklift or scissor lift experience is a plus. Knowledge of preventive maintenance and workplace safety procedures. Education High School Experience 4-7 years Qualifications Previous general maintenance, mechanical, or facilities experience. Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Experience using common hand and power tools. Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical repairs. Ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Dependable and able to respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner. Ability to safely lift, bend, climb, stand, and perform physical work.
