Maintenance Manager

Job Description Summary We are seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Manager to support both facility operations and production equipment reliability. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment—rolling up their sleeves to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, establish preventive maintenance programs, and help stand up maintenance processes from the ground up. You will oversee a small team while acting as the primary technical resource for equipment and facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities Lead day‑to‑day maintenance operations across production equipment and facility systems (HVAC, compressors, utilities, etc.) Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime Perform hands‑on maintenance and repairs as needed (not solely supervisory) Develop and implement a preventative maintenance (PM) program for equipment and facility assets Identify and help implement a CMMS or maintenance tracking system, including warranty tracking Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and support Support equipment installation, commissioning, and ramp‑up as the facility grows Ensure maintenance activities align with safety standards and operational best practices Train and mentor a small team of junior/apprentice technicians (2–3 direct reports) Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and efficiency We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
