This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated civil engineering professional to lead impactful projects across the energy, residential, commercial real estate, and public sector markets while helping shape the continued growth of our practice throughout the Carolinas.What You'll DoAs a Project Manager, you will provide both technical leadership and project management oversight for a variety of land development projects. Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.ResponsibilitiesLead design teams on land development projects, including site layout, grading, erosion control, stormwater management, utility design, and related engineering calculations and reports.Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.Develop and maintain client relationships while supporting business development, marketing, and proposal efforts.Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level staff.Coordinate project submittals and regulatory approvals with local and state agencies.Collaborate with department leadership and Dewberry offices nationwide to expand services, strengthen existing client relationships, and deliver high-quality solutions to clients.Required Skills & Required Experience6–10 years of experience in the design and management of land development and capital improvement projects.Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina or Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) license required, or ability to obtain NC licensure within two months of hire.Strong proficiency with:AutoCAD Civil 3DStormwater modeling softwareMicrosoft Office SuiteExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, project budgets, and schedules.Experience providing technical oversight and mentorship to engineering staff.Experience coordinating permits, project submittals, and regulatory agency approvals.Why Dewberry?Lead diverse and meaningful projects across multiple market sectors.Work alongside talented professionals in a collaborative, employee-focused environment.Help drive the expansion of a nationally recognized engineering and consulting firm.Build a long-term career with a company committed to investing in its people and communities.Don’t meet every single requirement?
