What You'll Do

Provide high-quality ICU patient care across multiple ICU units including ICU, CIVCU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn ICU
Float between different ICU units as needed, ensuring flexible and adaptable care delivery
Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments in accordance with physician orders
Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Document care provided accurately in Epic EMR system
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

What You Need

Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
Minimum 2 years ICU experience in a fast-paced environment
Epic EMR experience is required
Ability to float across ICU units and adapt to different patient needs
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

This float pool position requires flexibility to work across various ICU units, including Neuro, Burn, MICU, SICU, TICU, and more. The role offers a 12-hour day shift schedule with every other weekend requirement, focused on delivering excellent patient care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
