The RN will assess patients, develop and implement plans of care, monitor clinical interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes. Responsibilities include: * Perform patient assessments and reassessments based on patient condition and policy. * Develop, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care. * Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions. * Provide patient and family education and support discharge planning. * Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. * Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and non-licensed staff. * Mentor and precept staff as needed. * Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement activities. * Promote effective communication and cost-effective care. * Recognize and prioritize care needs in complex patient situations. * Maintain a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment. * Support cultural and patient-specific needs when planning care.
