About the Role

As an Irrigation Technician at Legend, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and appearance of our landscapes by ensuring that all plants and turf receive the appropriate amount of water.

Your expertise will directly contribute to the sustainability of our grounds and enhance the overall guest experience throughout our hospitality and recreation facilities.

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems, using your technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. You will also monitor weather conditions and adjust irrigation schedules to optimize water usage and promote environmental stewardship.

Ultimately, your work will help create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for our guests while supporting our commitment to responsible resource management.

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of horticulture and landscape management.

Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in irrigation technology or landscape management.
• Experience with smart irrigation systems and water conservation practices.
• Knowledge of local plant species and their water requirements.

Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair various types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and underground systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify and resolve issues such as leaks, clogs, and malfunctions.
• Monitor weather patterns and adjust irrigation schedules to ensure optimal water usage and plant health.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate irrigation needs with overall landscape care.
• Maintain accurate records of irrigation system performance, repairs, and maintenance activities.
