Licensed Veterinary Technician

Mukilteo Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our collaborative team and play an integral role in delivering exceptional patient care across both outpatient and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded technician who enjoys variety in their day and thrives in a fast-paced general practice environment. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients, provide skilled nursing care, support diagnostic and treatment plans, and utilize your technical expertise in surgery and dentistry.

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed M-Friday with rotating Saturdays beginning in September.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $31-34 per hour, for each hour worked*
  • $2/hr differential for any hours worked on Saturdays
• Bonus package: $2000
• CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 2+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in the state of WA
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Surgical assistance and anesthesia monitoring
  • Dental prophy
  • Advanced client communication
  • IVC placement and venipuncture
