Job role : Scrum Master / Agile Coach

Duration : 6-month contract with strong potential for full-time conversion

Location : Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Agile delivery across strategic technology initiatives.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and release planning.
• Coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership on Agile principles and best practices.
• Remove impediments and proactively identify risks affecting project timelines, scope, quality, and delivery.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across teams.
• Help drive Agile maturity across multiple teams and departments.
• Lead Agile delivery efforts for CRM implementations, upgrades, integrations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
• Support technology projects involving member engagement platforms, digital banking, workflow automation, data management, enterprise applications, and systems integrations.
• Coordinate activities across developers, business analysts, architects, QA teams, vendors, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
• Manage dependencies between technology workstreams and third-party vendors.
• Partner with business leaders to prioritize initiatives and align technology delivery with organizational objectives.
• Communicate status, risks, roadblocks, dependencies, and milestones to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support organizational change management and user adoption efforts.
• Monitor Agile metrics including velocity, sprint predictability, team capacity, and release readiness.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into delivery performance.
• Identify and recommend process improvements that increase delivery speed, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Project Manager.
• Proven experience supporting technology-focused projects and Agile software/technology delivery teams.
• Experience supporting CRM-related projects, implementations, integrations, or platform enhancements.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and broader Agile methodologies.
• Strong experience facilitating Agile ceremonies across distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to coach teams and improve Agile delivery practices.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar Agile delivery tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Highly Preferred:

• Experience within Credit Unions, Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech.
• Experience supporting CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar solutions.
• Knowledge of digital banking platforms, online account opening, loan origination systems, and member service technologies.
• Experience supporting third-party technology implementations and vendor relationships.
• CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Scrum certification.
• Agile Coaching certification is a plus.

Ideal Candidate:

• The strongest candidate will combine deep Scrum Master/Agile coaching expertise with hands-on technology delivery experience, particularly around CRM and digital transformation. Financial services, banking, or credit union experience is strongly preferred.
• The client needs someone who can independently drive Agile execution, remove barriers, improve team performance, and successfully coordinate complex technology initiatives-not simply facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
• This is a fast-moving opportunity with significant exposure across the organization and strong potential to convert to a full-time position.
