Teammates have access to Employee Resource Groups that serve as advocates and purpose and how you can bring it to life as an Ameris Bank teammate.The Scrum Master will help oversee scrum/kanban technology teams using Agile methodology best practices to ensure delivery success and good team morale. They also act as a buffer between the scrum/kanban team and line of business/project management and maintain a stable working environment for the team by helping the team overcome obstacles impeding their success. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:· Lead the kanban/scrum team in using Agile methodology and kanban/scrum practices.· Help the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver on key projects activities and systems/software/hardware maintenance duties.· Lead the kanban/scrum and development teams in self-organization.· Remove impediments and coach the kanban/scrum team on removing impediments.· Help the kanban/scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework.· Resolve conflicts and issues that occur.· Help the kanban/scrum team achieve higher levels of kanban/scrum maturity.· Support the product owner and provide education where needed.Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:· Prior experience on a leading technology teams via projects or direct reports.· Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict.· Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in scrum/kanban.· Experience with successful Agile techniques.· Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.· Ability to adapt to a changing environment.· Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction.Industry and Work Experience:· Minimum 3 years of technology delivery experience required.· Prior management experience preferred.Academic:· Bachelor’s degree required.· Scaled Agile certification preferred.Benefits Available to Employees:Ameris Bank provides a comprehensive employee benefit package to all eligible employees.Medical, Dental and Vision InsuranceAmeris Bank absorbs a major portion of the cost of healthcare.
