Production Line Leader

The Production Lead serves as a working leader on the production floor, helping maintain productivity, quality standards, and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting and guiding team members in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily packing line activities and workflow
• Support and guide Meat Packers and other packing team members
• Ensure packaging accuracy, labeling, and product quality
• Monitor production pace and communicate needs to the Packing Supervisor
• Oversee training new employees training within packing department
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation procedures
• Assist with packaging tasks as needed
• Promote safe work practices on the production line

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
• Leadership or team coordination experience helpful
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members
• Dependable and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in refrigerated production environments
• Ability to perform repetitive packaging tasks
