Job Title

PCU / Surgical Stepdown - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Surgical Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to other units within the facility as needed based on staffing and patient census
• Fulfill weekend rotation requirements, including availability every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
• Experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing environment
• Ability to work night shifts
• Willingness and ability to float to any unit within the facility
• Availability to work every third weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown setting
• Strong adaptability and comfort working across multiple unit types
