Job DescriptionOnsite: Phoenix, AZCo-op from July – December 2027No relocation assistance or housing providedMercury Systems is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op eager to learn, contribute, and bring fresh ideas to the Manufacturing Engineering team. In this hands-on role, you'll support manufacturing process improvements, performance monitoring, and data analytics.Job Responsibilities:Support manufacturing operations to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and operational efficiencyPartner with the Manufacturing Engineering team to identify and implement process improvementsParticipate in team meetings to contribute to product and process improvement initiativesInterpret, analyze, and summarize large datasets to support decision-makingPerform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities beyond predefined KPIsConduct statistical data analysis and create clear charts, dashboards, and reportsAnalyze equipment performance and utilization to support continuous improvementMonitor and analyze SPC trends and product yield dataMaintain clear, accurate documentation of analysis, findings, and process changesRequired Qualifications:Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical disciplineA minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review processWorking knowledge of statistics and data analysis conceptsProficiency with MS Office tools (bonus for Power BI)Exposure to Lean Six Sigma tools - Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5Y analysis etc.Exposure to MRP concepts, forecasting methods or inventory managementDemonstrated leadership through an executive role in a club/organization/athletic team, etc.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team"This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
