They are responsible for creating day-making experiences through delivering unparalleled guest service, making exceptional hand-crafted beverages and bringing the Purpose and Values of Caribou to life in every interaction.No previous experience required.Core ResponsibilitiesDelivers guest service that builds real connections, active listening, personal attention, and the small moments that make someone's dayHand-crafts beverages and prepares food to standard recipes, customizing to Guest preferencesConfidently moves between barista, greeter, and any other role the shift calls for, ready to take on whatever task is needed in the momentTakes orders and manages the cash drawer accurately, following cash-handling, safety, and security standardsKeeps the coffeehouse clean, organized, and well-stocked, meeting Caribou's operating standards for quality and safetyAnticipates what's needed next for a Guest or a teammate and acts on it before being askedMakes recommendations to Guests grounded in real product knowledge, not just a scriptKnows the difference between a problem to solve on the spot and one that calls for a leader, and asks for support accordinglyTakes direction from leaders and understands the team is balancing multiple priorities at onceShows up for every scheduled shift on time and ready to go, maintaining reliable, consistent attendanceBrings the Core Values to life in all that you do: Support One Another, Make Fun Happen, Be Yourself, Take Ownership, Serve with LoveBrings exceptional and engaging energy to the shift, making fun happening with teammates, and for GuestsApproaches the role with a learner's mindset, always looking to sharpen skills and improveShows up as a dependable teammate, staying steady under pressure and asking for help when neededTakes ownership of the impact they have on the people around themSkills and QualificationsRequired:Must be at least 16 years of ageAbility to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as the coffeehouse needsExcellent customer service mindsetAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentPassion for coffee, hospitality, and being part of a teamPreferred:Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience.Benefits:Employee Discount & Free Shift DrinkFlexible scheduleGrowth OpportunitiesTipsCompensation Range: $11.23 - $18.71 per hour. Starting pay is subject to Local and State Minimum Wage regulations. Ranges reflect what employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such position.The physical demands for this position are reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
