IT Field Services Technician

IT Field Services Technician *Location:* Carrollton, TX (Onsite) *Travel:* Up to 80% travel, primarily throughout DFW and neighboring states Required Qualifications * 5+ years of IT Support, Field Services, Desktop Support, or Infrastructure experience * Strong Windows troubleshooting and networking fundamentals * Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP * Experience supporting Windows 11 and macOS environments * Hardware deployment, installation, and troubleshooting experience * Strong customer service and documentation skills * Ability to travel frequently and provide occasional after-hours support * Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications * CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL certifications * VMware or Hyper-V experience * Experience supporting healthcare, dental, or multi-site environments Responsibilities * Provide onsite IT support across multiple locations * Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, server, network, and infrastructure issues * Install, configure, and support PCs, Macs, servers, and peripherals * Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server environments * Conduct onsite technology assessments and recommend improvements * Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues * Document solutions and support activities What We're Looking For A technical generalist who enjoys solving complex problems, working independently, and supporting a wide variety of technologies. Ideal candidates have strong troubleshooting skills, networking knowledge, and experience supporting users across multiple locations. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
