AR Billing Specialist Onsite in Houston, TX Up to $75K base salary Our client is seeking an AR Billing Specialist to join its Houston accounting organization and support the company's rental/manufacturing operations. This individual will be responsible for the full billing and accounts receivable cycle, including preparing and issuing customer invoices, maintaining accurate billing records, supporting collections, reconciling customer accounts, and resolving billing discrepancies. Responsibilities: Own the billing process from invoice preparation through issuance and follow-up. Prepare accurate and timely customer invoices based on supporting operational and contractual documentation. Review billing documentation for completeness and accuracy before invoices are submitted. Maintain customer accounts and ensure transactions are properly recorded within the ERP system. Monitor outstanding accounts receivable balances and aging. Assist with customer collections and follow up on past-due invoices. Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, disputed invoices, and other customer account issues. Perform customer account and AR reconciliations. Partner with accounting, operations, sales, and other internal teams to obtain information necessary for accurate and timely billing. Communicate directly with customers regarding invoices, account balances, documentation, and payment-related questions. Support month-end close activities related to billing and accounts receivable. Maintain appropriate billing documentation and supporting records. Assist with process improvements as Superior continues to integrate and grow its operations. Perform additional billing and accounts receivable responsibilities as needed.
