36B Financial Management Technician - Start Your Career with the US Army

ABOUT THIS JOB

***THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE***

As a Financial Management Technician, you'll be managing resources and financial operations as part of the Army's Finance and Comptroller Corps. You'll use your expertise in math to provide financial advice and recommendations for units looking to purchase services and supplies for their missions. You'll also be in charge of military pay, overseeing services with commercial vendors, auditing, accounting, banking operations, and more.

Skills you'll learn align with Accounting & Procurement, Telecommunications & Computers, Record Keeping. In addition, there are 22 nationally recognized certifications available to earn!

REQUIREMENTS

• 10 weeks of Basic Training
• 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
• U.S. Citizen
• 17 to 42 Years Old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Meet Tattoo Guidelines
• No Major Law Violations
• No Medical Concerns
