About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Banking Officer (CBO) to join their Executive Leadership Team. The CBO will be a key driver of growth, profitability, and customer engagement across all business lines, including retail, commercial banking, wealth management, and insurance. This remote-based leadership role requires a strategic leader who can ensure that the bank's various divisions are aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and long-term strategic plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing executive leadership, driving operational performance, and leading the development and execution of enterprise-wide growth and customer engagement strategies. Applicants for the CBO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive banking leadership experience, with a strong background in both commercial and retail banking. The role demands a proven track record in driving growth, profitability, and organizational performance, as well as strong strategic planning and execution capabilities. The CBO will be expected to foster a customer-focused culture, collaborate with risk, finance, and operations leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, and represent the organization externally. Excellent executive leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with executive teams and Boards of Directors. The position is based in the Upper Midwest / Central Plains region, and the candidate must be located in or willing to relocate to this area.
