Discussed upon hiring). The Animal Foundation is seeking highly motivated Shelter Medicine Veterinarians to help us sustain our mission. Would you like to help us continue making a difference for the animals in the Las Vegas Valley? You would be joining our team of veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, and veterinary assistant support staff to bring the most effective care to the animals in our shelter. This position includes both shelter medicine and surgery responsibilities, with the opportunity to tailor the role toward a stronger focus in either area based on your interests and experience. Our clinic has many of the same tools as a full-service veterinary hospital including three surgical suites, ultrasound, digital radiography, in-house blood work, and options for referral of advanced cases. Position Summary: Under administrative direction, responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care of shelter and/or client-owned animals, shelter medicine, spay/neuter surgeries, and disease control protocols.
