Laboratory Manager Laboratory Manager at ALS coordinates day‑to‑day laboratory operations, ensuring high‑quality service, compliance, and continuous improvement of productivity and efficiency. Responsibilities Plan, organize, coordinate and oversee all laboratory activities. Conduct day‑to‑day production management and staff coordination. Optimize production efficiency and ensure compliance with long‑term HR strategies. Maintain laboratory equipment, staffing and approved methodologies to provide a quality service to clients. Delegate NATA signatories to check and approve final reports prior to dispatch, advising staff to take corrective action where necessary. Ensure staff members are appropriately trained and assess the laboratory to increase productivity and efficiency. Authorize the purchase of consumables. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of laboratory experience preferred. 3–5 years of supervisory experience preferred. Possible travel to additional labs in other areas. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Analytical thinking skills. Promotes a productive work environment. Ability to adapt. Benefits Structured wage increases.
