Travel Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Technologist - CVT)
Location: New York
Pay: $2,700 – $3,100 per week (adjust if needed)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)

Schedule:
10-hour shifts, primarily days
Some evening shifts required
On-call and callback required per unit needs

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) to support a high-acuity Cardiac Cath and EP Lab. This role requires strong experience in invasive cardiac procedures and the ability to function in multiple roles including scrub, circulator, and monitor.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain sterile field for cardiac procedures

• Set up and manage sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment

• Assist physicians during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures

• Function in scrub, circulator, and monitoring roles

• Anticipate equipment needs during procedures

• Operate specialized Cath Lab equipment

• Maintain patient safety and sterile technique throughout procedures

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience:

• Right and Left Heart Hemodynamics

• Cardiac Interventions (PCI, CTO)

• Pericardiocentesis

• Vascular Interventions

• Advanced devices: RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever

Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience Required:

• ECMO

• Impella

• IABP

• ProtekDuo

Structural Heart Experience Required:

• TAVR

• MitraClip

• Watchman

• CardioMEMS

• PFO / ASD / VSD

• Valvuloplasty

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience

• RCIS certification (required)

• ARRT preferred

• Must meet NYS requirements (or eligible for grandfathering under Public Health Law 2824)

• Critical care or cardiac experience required

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Certifications:

• BLS (required)

• ACLS (required)

• RCIS (required)
