This critical position requires both Med Surg and previous ER experience within a small, rural CAH environment, making it ideally suited for adaptable professionals. Key Responsibilities of the Charge RN - Med Surg

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Med Surg unit during night shifts
• Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain patient safety
• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers effectively
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize the CPSI-Evident EMR system to document patient care accurately

Requirements of the Charge RN - Med Surg

• Active AHA BLS certification
• Valid KS or multistate RN license required at time of submission
• Experience in Med Surg and ER settings
• Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• Preferably, previous travel experience
