Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehab

Acute Rehab Rn – Acute Rehabilitation

Shift: Day 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Requirements:

Active IN or Compact license required
BLS certification required
2+ years of recent inpatient rehab experience (confirmation needed due to conflicting notes)
Previous travel experience required
Direct supervisor reference within the last 12 months is required

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide acute inpatient rehabilitation care, including mobility and fall-risk assessment & prevention
Manage feeding tube and swallowing precautions
Conduct Foley and urinary care, including removal
Assess and prevent wounds and pressure ulcers
Monitor insulin protocols and blood glucose levels
Provide IV/port care and follow isolation precautions
Assess and manage pain, and provide patient teaching

Compliance / Notes:

Orientation: 40 hours
Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions allowed
Background check required: Upon signing WOC, traveler must complete required lab work within 24 hours
Locals accepted at the same rate as travel nurses
