Exciting Non-Invasive Cardiology Position Available Near the South Carolina Coast!

We are looking for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to become part of our expanding team at a prominent 517-bed tertiary care facility, the leading hospital in our organization located in Florence, South Carolina. This role presents a well-rounded opportunity to engage in general, non-invasive cardiology across both outpatient and inpatient environments.

The selected candidate will collaborate with a dedicated group of 13 cardiologists within a well-established heart program that provides a comprehensive range of cardiovascular and thoracic surgical services. While board certification in echocardiography and proficiency in transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) are preferred, they are not mandatory. The physician will also have the responsibility of working closely with residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings. An academic appointment with the University of South Carolina Floyd School of Medicine is encouraged, though participation is optional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general, non-invasive cardiology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a team of cardiologists in a comprehensive heart program.
• Engage with residents and contribute to their education and training.
• Participate in academic opportunities, if desired.

Qualifications:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiology.
• Preferred certification in echocardiography and competency in TEEs.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
