Test Center Administrator - Alhambra, CA

Pearson VUE is the global leader in computer‑based testing. We are hiring a part‑time Test Administrator in Alhambra, California at 1000 S Fremont Ave, Alhambra, CA 91803. Starting pay is $19.47 per hour plus accrued paid sick time. Responsibilities Comply with all testing procedures and strictly adhere to company policies using careful judgment. Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process. Proctor / invigilate candidates while they test. Troubleshoot with internal departments to fix technical issues. Complete light housekeeping duties, such as vacuuming the floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate. Other duties as assigned. Schedule Requirements Work a variety of shifts Monday through Saturday between 6 am and 11 pm, including approximately 3–4 Saturdays per month. Sunday shifts may occur on an infrequent basis. This is a strictly part‑time position (10–15 hours per week) with the expectation to work additional hours if needed. Schedules are available at least two weeks in advance. Candidates must be flexible in work hours and willing to work nights and weekends. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required). Minimum of one year of customer service experience (preferred). Experience proctoring or invigilating exams (highly preferred). Must be able to sit for long periods, escort candidates to and from the testing room, bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation. Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Comfortable in a quiet testing environment, able to hear soft voices and see details from a distance.
