Qualifications

High School diploma/GED
1-3 years of work experience
Candidates with a mechanical background and welding experience are desirable
Knowledge of cement, the construction industry and integrated computer systems an asset
Must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE")

Responsibilities

Hands-on operation of the terminal equipment and daily operating functions
Maintaining terminal buildings and equipment in good condition
Efficient handling of product in both receiving and shipping
Responsible for the unloading of barges and/or railcars, transferring products into proper silos
Loads bulk unit trucks correctly, providing legal weights and proper product for customer delivery
