Swiss MachinistGilbert, Arizona, United StatesSummary of Job Duties:Performs machine setup, operation, and first article inspections on Swiss machines: Tornos Deco and Citizen Swiss CNC machinesCNC Programming is a plusAble to troubleshoot maintenance and quality issues on the machineAssists in meeting production schedulesAssists in meeting quality requirementsCommunicates problems and procedural issuesSuggests improvements for production and qualityWorks effectively in a team environmentPerform other duties as assignedSpecific Responsibilities:Performs machine setup and first article inspectionPerforms required machine maintenanceAssists in training other machinistsEnsures production priorities are followedMakes management aware of any quality/production problemsUses microscopes, callipers, micrometres, weights, optical comparators and other inspection devicesVerifies accuracy and completeness of all paperworkEducational and Experience Requirements:Minimum HS diploma, GED or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years in a CNC Swiss machining environmentAbility to read, write and communicate effectively with all other personnelAbility to follow directions and perform complex dutiesGood hand and eye coordinationGood manual dexterityGood interpersonal skillsRequired Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status:US Citizens / Greencard HolderMust-Haves:Minimum 5 years in a CNC Swiss machining environmentAbility to read, write and communicate effectively with all other personnelAbility to follow directions and perform complex dutiesGood hand and eye coordinationGood manual dexterityGood interpersonal skills
