Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, valid Special Education teaching credential (mild to moderate specialization preferred)
• Experience working with students identified as SPED in K-12 settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
• Ability to differentiate instruction and employ various behavioral management techniques
• Flexibility and positive attitude when addressing student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction and support in both small group and individual settings for students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and modify instructional strategies based on assessment data
• Foster an inclusive classroom climate to support student confidence, independence, and participation
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding student goals, progress, and accommodations
• Adhere to all state and federal guidelines pertaining to special education
