Receptionist / Secretary Location McKinney, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $18/hr
• 28 hours/week — Mon–Thu, 8:00am–5:00pm
• W2, Part-Time

ROLE IMPACT
Support vital housing programs through administrative and client-facing duties. This bilingual front-office role ensures consistent service delivery, accurate rent collection, and compliance support across multiple departments. A key position for maintaining smooth tenant interactions and internal coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet visitors, manage incoming calls, and assist walk-in tenants
• Accept applications, schedule client appointments, and conduct orientations
• Collect and post rent payments in agency software
• Prepare correspondence, maintain general files, and manage office supplies
• Interpret and explain housing program policies to applicants and tenants

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ year administrative or receptionist experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and agency-specific systems
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Ability to interpret regulations and follow standardized procedures

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Housing agency software (rent collection, client intake)
• Multifunction phone systems
• Office printers and scanning equipment

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with HUD or local housing policies
• Accurate data entry in high-volume environments
